Our Initiatives
Well-being for Mothers
We approach positive social change by starting with ourselves as mothers first. We need to fill our own cup so that we have more to give to those who matter most to us. Through the Mothers in Nature Support Circle, we offer the space to connect as a community and renew through well-being practices like yoga, mindfulness, and forest therapy together.
Well-doing for Earth
Just as we need to nurture ourselves, in this relationship with nature, a key part of Mother the Earth’s social initiative is to help heal and renew the earth. Through family-led outreach programs, we regularly host opportunities to connect our families and children with nature by partnering with local environmental nonprofits in an effort to educate and give back.

About the Support Circle:
We’ll be kicking-off a Mothers in Nature Support Circle as a way for mothers and caregivers to take some time away for themselves to recharge and restore. We intentionally are hosting in nature to allow mothers to benefit from the healing power of the great outdoors while connecting together in community.
This group will meet regularly on a monthly or quarterly basis. The group’s focus integrates principles of well-being research for parental support. The sessions aim to foster emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and cultivate personal strengths, while focusing on challenges specific to motherhood and parenting. We will have space to talk and share while also weaving in various wellness practices like yoga, meditation, reiki, breathwork, and sound healing.
Meet the facilitator:
Angela Reiner is the founder of Mother the Earth. She holds a background in Forest Therapy, Positive Psychology, is a yoga teacher and reiki practitioner. Through spending time in nature to recharge herself as a mother, the mission of Mother the Earth was born. She believes that through connecting with nature, we can heal ourselves and gain the resource and empathy to be better parents and caregivers. Angela became a mother and lost her mother during the pandemic and knows how challenging navigating motherhood without support can be. She loves to foster community, create meaningful discussion, and connect others together to bring more harmony to our world.
