We are suffering from a mental health and well-being epidemic amongst parents. Our planet is suffering too.

Parents, children, and our planet deserve more.

Nature is healing.

A growing body of research is now finding that creating a connection with nature contributes to well-being even more than social connection. When we connect socially and do so in nature together, we reap the best outcomes. Nature has been prescribed by doctors in Japan since the 1980s to reduce stress and burnout. This year the U.S. Surgeon General has issued an advisory of the mental health and well-being of parents.

In an effort to help mothers recharge and feel supported, Mother the Earth is dedicated to hosting quarterly Mother Support Groups in nature so that we, as mothers can mutually restore ourselves, feel connected to our community, and have the greatest edge in raising the next generation of children to flourish.

Building Reciprocity.

By spending intentional time in nature, we develop a deeper relationship and sense of eco-connection. This eco-connection creates a sense of reciprocity where people often begin to notice and appreciate all the nature surrounding them. With this renewed sense of appreciation, often times many feel called to give back and care for the environment.

We can heal nature.

As mothers, we can be the stewards that rekindle a vital relationship with the earth not only for ourselves, but for our children and future generations to come. Together with our families, we hold the keys to creating lasting change that will imprint a sense of social responsibility and eco-responsibility within our children as they grow up and are called to adapt to the realities of climate change that we are facing. More importantly, we can do our small part to regenerate and heal our planet for a flourishing future together.

She believes that through connecting with nature, we can heal ourselves and gain the resource and empathy to be better parents, caregivers when we reconnect to the natural world around us. Angela became a mother and lost her mother during the pandemic and knows how challenging navigating motherhood without support can be. She loves to foster community, create meaningful discussion, and connect others together to bring more harmony to our world.
